Most recently, Billy’s original musical comedy FOWL PLAY (book co-written by Yoni Weiss) premiered Off-Broadway in a developmental production directed by Tye Blue. Billy wrote the music and lyrics for the 2024 premiere of FIVE: The Musical, which was twice extended at Theatre 555 Off-Broadway, featured extensively in the New York Times and ABC Nightline, and which won the BroadwayWorld Award for Best Off-Broadway Musical.

In the Summer of 2023, Billy achieved the rare feat of having three musicals running simultaneously Off-Broadway. These included the return engagement of A MUSICAL ABOUT STAR WARS at the AMT Theatre, the Seinfeld Musical Parody SINGFELD!: A Musical About Nothing at the Jerry Orbach Theatre, and LIGHTHOUSE: An Immersive Drinking Musical at Soho Playhouse.

Other New York and Off-Broadway Credits include additional songs for NEWSical (Theatre Row), Music for Keen Company’s Hear/Now Season of Audio Theatre, the original, and long-running production of A MUSICAL ABOUT STAR WARS (Theatre Row/St. Luke’s Theatre).

In development and slated for production are Little Black Book starring Orfeh and directed by Kristin Hanggi, and VAPE: The Grease Parody, directed by Jack Plotnick.
